Karbonia. The technology company of Renewable Vision.
Karbonia owns, develops, and validates the technologies that turn industrial waste (aluminium smelter waste, desalination reject brine, and CO₂) into permanent minerals, clean fuels, treated water, and verified carbon value.
Our name is our mandate.
Karbonia is a Saudi technology company based in Jeddah, wholly owned by Renewable Vision: built on proprietary technology and deployed with partners. The name is the promise: carbon, and the waste that carries it, turned into permanent minerals, cleaner fuels, and treated water through technology we own.

A Kingdom where every industrial waste stream is a resource, feeding the minerals, fuels, and water of a circular carbon economy.
To own, develop, and validate the technologies that turn industrial waste (SPL, black dross, reject brine, and CO₂) into permanent minerals, clean fuels, treated water, and verified carbon value, deployed with partners.
Waste's untapped value.

Why we build this.
Karbonia was founded in Jeddah, inside the Renewable Vision group, on a simple conviction: the waste-to-value transition will be won by whoever owns the proven chemistry and the verified numbers. So we built the Master Model first, filed the patents second, and deploy the technology with partners rather than sit on it.
Proven before promised.
Every route we pursue moves through the same gates. Nothing is claimed before its gate is passed.
The chemistry and economics are modeled end to end before anything else.
Assumptions are tested against data, standards, and independent review.
Small scale first, with partners, measured against the model.
Commercial deployment only when the numbers have earned it.

Technology ownership as an operating capability.
Karbonia organizes chemistry, process design, economics, validation, and MRV into one Master Model. The work moves waste streams from characterization to deployment-ready, model-verified designs rather than producing one-off studies.
Own the technology. Prove the numbers. Deploy with partners.
Karbonia combines a patent-pending portfolio, the Master Model, and eight Master Briefings in one integrated practice. Engagements are scoped as partnerships, design studies, and joint development: documented outputs that travel with the partner through to deployment.
A local company built for a regional carbon agenda.
Saudi Arabia concentrates the feedstocks (smelter waste, desalination brine, industrial CO₂) while Vision 2030, the Saudi Green Initiative, and MWAN's industrial-waste agenda set the direction. Karbonia operates from inside this market and deploys with partners across the wider GCC and beyond.
Evidence-led and methodology-aware.
Our work is based on documented assumptions, pathway comparison, methodology awareness, and clear distinction between verified data, assumptions, and market scenarios. Forward statements carry conditional language until validated by data.
What defines our approach.
Built inside the Saudi industrial market, with line of sight to smelters, desalination, cement, data centres, and the circular carbon economy agenda.
66 modeling capabilities and 41 unit operations in one model, every parameter traced to published science, so every solution is designed and priced on the same disciplined core.
Every result is checked by two independent engines, every capability is labelled by how it was validated, and benchmarks are published, not blended.
Nine patent-pending inventions protect the platform, filed as U.S. provisional applications in 2026.
Karbonia deploys by field and territory with partners it does not compete with: Renewable Vision projects and industrial partners.
